賓語從句是指在復(fù)合句中充當(dāng)賓語的句子,九年級學(xué)生主要學(xué)習(xí)的是由that ,if, whether引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。
I believe that I can get good results in this math test.我相信在這次數(shù)學(xué)測試中我能取得好成績。
I believe that our team will win the basketball match.我相信我們隊會在這場籃球比賽中獲勝。
The teacher said that Li Lan is a working-hard child .老師說李蘭是一個努力學(xué)習(xí)的孩子。

當(dāng)賓語從句是由連接代詞who, whom, whose ，what,which或連接副詞where, when, how , why等引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句時,這時特殊疑問詞就是賓語從句的引導(dǎo)詞,從句部分要用陳述語序。如:
I want to know how to use this computer. 我想知道如何使用這臺電腦。
l don't know what he is. 我不知道他是做什么工作的。
She didn't know where she would go.她不知道她要去哪里。
No one knows where he comes from.沒有人知道他來自哪里。
在賓語從句中,當(dāng)賓語從句是特殊疑問句時,我們可以把特殊疑問句充當(dāng)?shù)馁e語從句轉(zhuǎn)換成復(fù)合不定式短語,在句中作及物動詞的賓語。如:
①Will you please tell me how I can get these information?
=Will you please tell me how to get these information?請你告訴我怎樣獲得這些信息好嗎?
②Can you tell me when we will arrive in Beijing?
=Can you tell me when to arrive in Beijing？
你能告訴我我們將在什么時候到達北京嗎?
①引導(dǎo)介詞后的賓語從句時。
l am interested in whether he joins the army.我對他是否人伍感興趣。
②直接與or not連用時。
I can't say whether or not he will come on time.他能否準(zhǔn)時來，我說不準(zhǔn)。
I'm not sure whether or not Mary is coming to my birthday party. 我不確定瑪麗是否會來參加我的生日聚會。
③引導(dǎo)動詞discuss后的賓語從句時。
They're discussing whether we should visit the Summer Palace tomorrow . 他們正在討論我們明天是否去參觀頤和園。
④賓語從句前置于句首時。
Whether this is true or not, I'm not sure.
這是不是真的，我不敢肯定。
Whether he is going to Australia? I don't know. 他是否要去澳大利亞?我不知道。
【注意】
Please tell me if he can come to my birthday party.
這句話可以理解為:“如果他能來參加我的生日聚會，請告訴我?！被颉罢埜嬖V我他能否來參加我的生日聚會?！比绻磉_第二種意思，只能用whether。
Tomorrow mother will tell us whether to travel to Beijing.明天媽媽將告訴我們是否去北京旅游。
My mother asked me when we would have an English test.我媽媽問我什么時候會有一個英語測試。
當(dāng)主句是般現(xiàn)在時， 主語是第一人稱w.Ei主句謂語動詞是表示“想，，認(rèn)為'等意義的動詞，如think, believe, suppose等時，若后面的從句是否定意義。從句的否定般要轉(zhuǎn)移到主句中，即: 否定前移。其反意疑問句的人稱和時態(tài)通常與賓語從句一致。
①I don't think LiMing is an honest child ， is he?我認(rèn)為李明不是個誠實的孩子，是嗎?
②I don't think he can play the piano，can he?我認(rèn)為他不會彈鋼琴，對嗎？
③I don't believe he is clever, is he?
我認(rèn)為他不聰明，是嗎?
在that 引導(dǎo)的賓語從句中，連接詞that只起引導(dǎo)作用，無具體意義，在從句中不充當(dāng)任何成分，因此在口語或者非正式文體中常常省略。但在下列情況中不能省略：
由并列連詞連接的兩個或多個that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句，只有第一個從句中的 that可以省去，其余并列賓語從句中that全要保留。
Tom said ( that ) he had finished reading the book and that he would read another one.湯姆說他已讀完了這本書,想再讀一本。
【拓展】當(dāng)賓語從句的主語是非謂語動詞或從句中時，that不能省略。
Most people couldn't believe that what he had written was true.大多數(shù)人不相信他所寫的是真的。

I am afraid that if you've broken it, you must pay for it.你如果損壞了它，恐怕必須賠償。
