肖愛民，筆名蕭喑，號樂墨齋，1962年生。18歲師承齊白石門下著名畫家韓不言先生，為嫡傳弟子，后師承顧子惠、駱石華先生習書刻印。
現為甘肅省美術家協(xié)會會員、甘肅金石篆刻研究院研究員、甘肅省直機關書畫協(xié)會顧問，蘭州市民主黨派藝聯(lián)會顧問、蘭州市政協(xié)書畫院特聘書畫家、蘭州市美協(xié)西固分會副主席。
作品多次參加國內外書畫展覽并獲獎，也有數十幅作品被國內外藝術機構收藏。在《中國書畫報》《書法報》《工人日報》《甘肅美術》《鑒書賞畫報》《鑒藏》《篆刻》等數十家報紙雜志發(fā)表并專題評介。
舉辦個人畫展、作品義賣展及聯(lián)展。作品入選《中國美術家優(yōu)秀作品集》《甘肅美術大展作品集》等多種大型畫冊。
出版有《蕭喑畫貓選輯》《蕭喑書畫篆刻精選》《中國當代實力派畫家一一蕭喑畫選》。
Xiao Aimin, whose pseudonym is Xiao Yan, was born in 1962. At the age of 18, he was a direct disciple of Mr. Han Buyan, a famous painter under Qi Baishi. Later, he studied calligraphy and engraving under the guidance of Mr. Gu Zihui and Mr. Luo Shihua.
He is now a member of Gansu Artists Association, a researcher of Gansu Jinshi seal cutting Research Institute, a consultant of Gansu provincial organ calligraphy and Painting Association, a consultant of Lanzhou Democratic Party Art Federation, a distinguished calligrapher and painter of Lanzhou CPPCC calligraphy and painting academy, and a vice chairman of Xigu branch of Lanzhou Artists Association.
His works have participated in many calligraphy and painting exhibitions at home and abroad and won awards, and dozens of works have been collected by art institutions at home and abroad. It has been published in dozens of newspapers and magazines such as China calligraphy and painting daily, calligraphy daily, workers daily, Gansu fine arts, book appreciation and painting daily, collection appreciation, seal cutting and so on.
Hold individual painting exhibition, work charity exhibition and joint exhibition. His works have been selected into many large-scale albums such as the collection of excellent works of Chinese artists and the collection of works of Gansu art exhibition.
He has published selected works of Xiao Yan painting cats, selected works of Xiao Yan calligraphy, painting and seal cutting, and selected works of Xiao Yan painting by Chinese contemporary powerful painters.
