And how you felt about the wedding.1.During the last 2 years, I’ve attended several weddings since I am already at the age when many of my friends are planning to get hitched with their lovers.在過去的兩年期間，我參加了很多場婚禮，因為我已經(jīng)到了很多我的朋友們計劃要結(jié)婚的年紀(jì)了。2.But today I would like to say something about my cousin’s wedding, which roughly happened 5 months ago. I went there with my family, definitely.但是今天我想說說大概五個月前，我表姐的婚禮。當(dāng)然，我是和我家人一同參加的。3.Specifically, Chinese weddings are quite different from western ones.
4.For western countries, they normally hold a wedding in a church, but for Chinese, we always have it in a fancy hotel or a luxury restaurant, and so it’s the same with my cousin’s wedding.在西方國家，他們一般會在教堂里舉辦婚禮，但是對于中國人來說，我們一般會在一個別致的酒店或者一個豪華的餐廳里舉行婚禮，我表姐的婚禮也是這樣的。 5.Before the ceremony, the groom picked up the bride with a motorcade and then they took some photos in open areas, just on a square in my city. My cousin was extremely beautiful and she was in a pure white wedding dress.

It was really a once-in-a-lifetime experience for her.這真是一場完美的婚禮因為我見證了我表姐重要的一天。對于她來說，這是一個”一生僅有一次的”經(jīng)歷。- get hitched 是一種非正式用法，在口語中比較地道，表示get married
- roughly 這個副詞表示大概，大致，相當(dāng)于about或者是approximately，當(dāng)然我們還有另外一種用法，在句首，可以經(jīng)常這么說: Roughly speaking，….
- nicely decorated 表示現(xiàn)場的裝飾很精致，很漂亮，同時我們也可以替換nicely這個詞，比如wonderfully或者是perfectly
- ceremonious是名詞ceremony的形容詞形式，表示很有儀式感
- be in high spirits是口語中的一個地道表達(dá)，表示大家情緒很高漲，也可以用in a good mood來替換
- couldn’t take their eyes off each other 表示目光都無法離開對方
