本次教學(xué)，培養(yǎng)孩子在閱讀過程中，確認(rèn)是否理解文本。不論孩子還是大人，讀書過程中，經(jīng)常碰到一些意思模糊的地方。有閱讀經(jīng)驗(yàn)的孩子，懂得不斷確認(rèn)自己是否理解文字；有閱讀經(jīng)驗(yàn)的孩子，還懂得通過反復(fù)閱讀、自問自答等方式，幫助自己看清文字謎團(tuán)。

比如，媽媽若發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子沒讀懂，可以這樣啟發(fā)孩子：

What just happened?  How do you know that?

Why did the character do that?

What is the character feeling right now?

在英語閱讀策略中，不斷確認(rèn)自己是否理解文字，是其中一項(xiàng)要求。孩子閱讀時(shí)，遇到意思模糊的片段，或者察覺到不知文本所云之時(shí)，應(yīng)根據(jù)上下文細(xì)節(jié)，盡量作出符合邏輯的推理與判斷。    

開始練習(xí)嘍！

一、讓孩子閱讀下面的故事。 

The Fox and the Grapes

A fox walked through a farm one hot summer day.  He saw some grapes hanging from a tree.

“I'm so thirsty,” he thought.  “Those grapes are just what I need!”  He ran and jumped at the grapes, but he missed them.  He tried again.

“One, two, three,” the fox counted.  He jumped up, but he missed the grapes again.  He tried several more times, but he never caught the grapes.  He gave up.

The fox was leaving the farm when he passed a cat.

“How are the grapes?” asked the cat.  “I'm sure they are sour,” said the fox glumly.

“Oh, that's too bad,” said the cat.  “I guess I won't climb up and get some for us.”  The cat ran away before the fox could tell the truth.  

二、啟發(fā)孩子回答問題。  

①  狐貍想摘到葡萄嗎？把狐貍想摘葡萄的詞語，劃上熒光筆。

②  那只貓為什么不去樹上摘葡萄？

③  貓走的時(shí)候，帶著什么心情？狐貍又是什么心情？

三、對(duì)對(duì)答案

①  狐貍當(dāng)然想摘到葡萄，下面的熒光筆部分，透出狐貍迫切的心情：
