表示“想要或希望某人做某事”，可以用 want sb. to do sth. 或者 want sb. doing sth.句型。但是，最好注意：（1）want sb. to do sth. 句型的例句在詞典中很容易找到，這里就不舉例了，在考試中，最好用這種句型。（2）want sb. doing sth.句型中的doing 是現(xiàn)在分詞，不是動(dòng)名詞。這種句型中的want多用否定式，但是也可以用肯定式。因?yàn)楹芏嘣~典沒有提供例句，所以，容易被判為錯(cuò)誤，所以，在考試中最好不用。以下例句均出自英語原著，轉(zhuǎn)引自張道真主編的《現(xiàn)代英語用法詞典》修訂版：I don't want women medding in my affairs.
