很多同學(xué)在說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的時(shí)候多半“憑感覺(jué)”，覺(jué)得意思到了犯些下偶偶無(wú)也無(wú)妨。但正是這些小細(xì)節(jié)，讓你的英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)起來(lái)非常不地道，有時(shí)即便語(yǔ)法正確了但不符合英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言習(xí)慣（idiomatic English），也會(huì)顯得很別扭。
到比如，你碰到外國(guó)友人問(wèn)對(duì)方是做什么工作的，你也許會(huì)說(shuō)，
What's your job?
語(yǔ)法正確，但正常人不這么說(shuō)話，他們會(huì)說(shuō)：
What do you do ?

1.你的外套破了。
Incorrect: Your coat is broken.
Correct:Your coat is torn.
2.能借你電話用一下嗎？
Incorrect:May I borrow your phone?
Correct: May I use your phone?
3.他有所好轉(zhuǎn)。
Incorrect:He becomes better.
Correct:He got better.
4.我把鑰匙忘在屋里了。
Incorrect:I forget my keys in the house.
Correct: I left my keys in the house.
5.這個(gè)位子有人坐嗎？
Incorrect: Is this seat empty?
Correct: Is this seat taken?
1.我有很多活兒要干。
Incorrect: I have a lot of work to be done.
Correct: I have a lot of work to do.
2.飯后，媽媽提議去散步。
Incorrect: After dinner, my mother suggested to go for a walk.
Correct: After dinner,my mother suggested going for a walk.
3.你就是在這點(diǎn)上弄錯(cuò)了。
Incorrect:This is where you mistake.
Correct: This is where you are mintaken.
4.我習(xí)慣了開(kāi)燈看電視。
Incorrect:I am used to watch TV with the light on.
Correct :I am used to watching TV with the light on.
5.他的新書會(huì)大賣。
Incorrect:His new book will be sold well.
Correct:His new book will sell well.
去哪兒都行。
Incorrect:Anywhere will do.
Correct:Any place will do.
2.不要對(duì)我抱太大希望。
Incorrect:Don't expect me too much.
Correct:Don't expect too much from/ of me.
3.如果你有錢的話給我點(diǎn)兒吧。
Incorrect:Give me some money if you have.
Correct:Give me some money if you have any.
4.他對(duì)我十分友好
Incorrect:He treated me very friendly.
Correct:He treated me in a friendly way.
5.會(huì)議定在今天下午四點(diǎn)開(kāi)。
Incorrect:The meeting is scheduled to be held this afternoon at four.
Correct:The meeting is scheduled to be held at four this afternoon.
